We have custom made many gas charged shocks for obsolete vintage snowmobile applications.  We do not offer shocks in chrome.

Yes, you can ship your shocks to me.   Our work load varies throughout the year, so call ahead for an estimated lead-time, if you are under a time constraint.   Make sure you fill out a work order and put it with your shocks in the box. The work order is located on our website here also.  We take Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express,  on all mail in shock rebuild and repairs.

No, your chrome shock rod must be at 100% perfect condition. Your shock's seals are sliding up and down that precision hard finish, and if there is anything compromising to the quality of that surface, the rod must be replaced if you ever expect the seals to perform properly again.

I carry a large selection of new and used shock parts.  Most shocks can be repaired cheaper than replacing them. I also carry a large selection of used shocks for sale.

It is recommended by the factories to get them rebuilt every 1500 miles. If you are an extreme rider, it would be every 1000 miles.  Sno-cross racing is every 2-3 weekends.

We are a certified Fox, Walker Evans, and Exit dealer, with access to all factory specifications and tools, to perform the service properly, only using high quality products.  Our shop is equipped with high temperature parts cleaning cabinets, a shock dyno, and spring dyno.

The oil inside your shocks brakes down and no longer dampens or protects your parts properly. Failure to change this can result in costly shock repairs. Most shocks with over 1500 miles are not working properly, but the rider has adapted to them not working properly.  Most shocks don't just go out, it's a slow process over hundreds of miles. Putting a few dollars into your shocks every 1500 miles, will keep your machine working in good shape and handling good.
