Yes, you can ship your shocks to me.  Our work load varies throughout the year, so call ahead for an estimated lead-time, if you are under a time constraint.   Make sure you fill out a work order and put it with your shocks in the box. The work order is located on our website here also. We take Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express,  on all mail in shock rebuild and repairs.
No, your chrome shock rod must be at 100% perfect condition. Your shock's seals are sliding up and down that precision hard finish, and if there is anything compromising to the quality of that surface, the rod must be replaced if you ever expect the seals to perform properly again.
